Food and Health: opportunities for Us, the Planet and Our Future

On October 13, the conference "Alimentazione e salute: opportunità per noi, per il pianeta e per il nostro futuro (Food and Health: opportunities for Us, the Planet and Our Future)" was held in Cortina d'Ampezzo at the Alexander Girardi Hall conference center. The initiative, open to citizens and high school institutions, counted as many as 400 participants and was organized by the the Soroptimist Club in collaboration with the Municipality of Cortina. Three special guest speakers were Luisa Finotti, R&D manager of Grandi Molini Italiani and a specialist in nutrition and wellness; Laura Gherardini, an expert in Probiotics; Michela Petronio, vice president of BluFuture, the Corporate Venture area of the Barilla Group.

The conference, moderated by Chiara Costa, focused on the relationship between Food and Health, and then on the role of food as a fundamental element for well-being and professional growth.
